Oak Board Fence
Traditional oak board is a very attractive, long lasting fence, built with 25 year old treated southern yellow pine posts and 1"x 6" x 16' oak board. Oak fences can be left natural or painted to give your farm the well-maintained look. Typical construction is three or four board, with an optional board to cover the post vertically. This option adds strength to the joints, protects the posts from being chewed, and provides a complete look to your fence.
Under normal circumstances, horses will not chew oak board due to the construction with hard wood. Since damage is most often done by horses, owners sometimes add an electric wire above the top rail to keep the horses off the fence.

ElectroBraid Fence
A fraction of the cost of other electric horse fencing systems, Electrobraid™ is a permanently-installed electric fencing system designed to provide a safe and secure horse fence. It is both a physical barrier and a psychological deterrent to the horse. Electrobraid fence is highly visible to horses, strong, durable and resilient.
ElectroBraid™ is a double helix of copper wire conductors, braided into the outer jacket of the rope. 3 or 4 strands of Braid™ of ¼ inch diameter are mounted on electrical insulators on fence posts.

“No climb” Wire Mesh Fence
This closely-woven 2"x 4" vertical mesh pattern has been specifically designed to prevent horses, cows, sheep, goats, or other hoofed or hooved animals from “stepping through” or “walking down” the fence. The material will simply spring back if stepped on, which protects animals from injury and minimizes repairs.
This fence offers rigid yet flexible construction that gives it superior strength. Wire mesh fencing constructed of galvanized wire that is highly visible, rust resistant, and does not require much maintenance keeps horses in the paddock and keeps other animals out.

Vinyl Fence
One of vinyl fencing's first applications was in the equine industry because it prevents injury to horses and requires no traditional maintenance. In addition, most vinyl fences used to enclose horses are white, which can keep horses from colliding with them at night (other colors are also available), and horses are not likely to crib on vinyl fences. The vinyl itself is very strong, and vinyl fence construction contributes to the ultimate strength and durability of the fence.

Vineyard Trellis
Trellis systems can be as simple as a single wire in a high cordon system to as complex as a catch wire system used for table grapes.
Trellis construction impacts the economics of the vineyard, but can also impact the productivity and profitability of a vineyard. A wind range of materials can be use, and much thought and planning should be put into the construction of your vineyard trellis.
Some considerations:
- Post strength
- Wire characteristics: guage, corrosion resistence
- Number of wires required: 1 to 10
- Pounds per wire
- Attachment of wires to posts

HighTensile Fence for Dairy and Beef Cows
Our high tensile fencing is build using pressure treated wooden posts, and several smooth high-tension wires. The multi strand high tensile wire is insulated so it can be electrified if necessary. There are a variety of configurations to suit your specific needs.
Some common configurations:
- Three or more strands of high tensile wire are recommended for lots, calves, weaning, and hard to hold cattle
- Five wire fence is used for difficult to control livestock such as sheep
- Six wire high tensile is used for a higher stocking levels such as cattle
- Eight or ten strand high tensile smooth wire fences are best for working pens and corrals, feedlots, farm boundaries, around homesteads or wherever electric fence is not preferred because they need not be electrified

Deer Fence
Stable Fences & Vineyards offers several solutions to keep deer away from your yard, garden and other vegetation. Deer fencing varies in terms of cost, ‘invisibility’, effectiveness, and durability. We will design a solution based on your specific needs and budget.
Some common configurations:
- Conventional deer fencing is made of a heavy metal: it's effective and durable and typically stands 8' tall
- Electric deer fencing generally consists of a wire or wires strung relatively low along the desired border
- Polypropylene mesh deer fencing is nearly invisible. It is more expensive than electric deer fencing but less expensive than conventional deer fencing
- A variation on mesh deer fencing is one composed of metal but coated with black polyethylene, to render it less visible
